Our Website

So I'm a little nervous about doing the website. I had to take a technology class for my undergrad degree, but I don't remember anything from it. We just followed the instructor's directions and did our projects, but we never got any written directions for future use. Hopefully I'll be able to understand these directions and make a good website!

It'll take some getting used to...

So I guess I'll have to get back in the habit of typing on here. :)

I semi-watched the presidential debate tonight. I'm in Florida visiting my boyfriend, and he had it on, so I paid attention when I heard something interesting. :) One thing that caught my attention was when McCain was talking about education. He said that military personnel should be able to come back from war and immediately be a teacher. They don't need to take any tests or have certifications. That's absurd!!!!!!!!!! All teachers need to have the proper education and test scores so they can have their certification to teach. Yes, people in the military are very brave and should be respected, but that doesn't mean they should be able to by-pass the rules non-military people have to follow. Even if a former teacher joins the military and her certification expires while in service, she should still have to follow the necessary procedures for renewing her certification. My undergrad was in elementary education so this stepped on my toes a little bit. :)

driving really raises my blood pressure

apparently old people can drive 2 ways: really fast and crazy or really slow and stupid.

today i had the really fast and crazy lady behind me. she was driving a lexus and i couldn't see the front of her car because she was riding me so bad. so naturally, i did what i always do. i went slower. :)

i want to know what part of a person's brain is missing that tells them to not be ass holes. i mean, when you pass someone and smile at them, the polite (and obvious) thing to do is smile back. a lot of people don't get this; they just stare at you. they're ass holes. i was just wondering. i guess they didn't get enough love as a child. :)
